With a rich history of service and expertise in the field of cardiology, Dr. Premranjan Singh brings a wealth of experience to his practice at the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida, where he has been a valued member since 2015.

Prior to joining the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida, Dr. Singh served in various private practice cardiology roles in Ocala, Florida, including at Urban Cardiology and Marion Heart Associates. His commitment to patient care extends beyond private practice, as he has also been a dedicated staff cardiologist at both Munroe Regional Medical Center and Ocala Regional Medical Center since 2009.

Dr. Singh’s journey in medicine began with his education at Patna Medical College in India, where he earned his Medical Doctorate degree with honors. He then pursued further training in the United States, completing his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and fellowships in Clinical Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the prestigious Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts.

He holds numerous board certifications, including Interventional Cardiology, Cardiology, Echocardiography, Vascular Medicine, Endovascular, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine, demonstrating his commitment to staying at the forefront of his field.

Dr. Singh’s professional involvement and affiliations are extensive, including roles such as Director of Cardiac Cath lab ORMC and West marion hospital (2015-2022) Director of Chest pain and Rehabilitation at Ocala Regional Medical Center and membership in esteemed organizations like the American College of Cardiology, Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, and American Heart Association.

Throughout his career, Dr. Singh has been actively involved in research, contributing to studies as a clinical investigator, Bypass Angioplasty Revascularization Investigation (BARI) 2 Diabetes and Chair, Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) writing group, Bypass Angioplasty Revascularization Investigation in type 2 Diabetes (BARI 2D). He has contributed to numerous literature and articles related to cardiovascular disease.
