Eddice Companion PA-C is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 25.5 years of combined experience in internal medicine and cardiology. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Trinity College of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Business Administration/Finance in 1994. Building upon her undergraduate education, Eddice pursued further studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, again graduating with honors in 1998.

Throughout her career, Eddice has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence. She began her professional journey at Central FL Heart Group in Ocala, FL, where she served as a Physician Assistant from 1998 to 2013. During her tenure, Eddice worked closely with supervising physicians, including Dr. Jesrani and Dr. Kolaventy, gaining invaluable experience in both office and hospital settings. Her responsibilities included conducting patient assessments, performing physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications. Eddice’s excellent communication skills, coupled with her ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, made her a trusted and respected member of the healthcare community.

In 2013, Eddice transitioned to Urban Cardiology in Ocala, FL, where she continued to make significant contributions to patient care under the guidance of Dr. Paul Urban and Dr. Prem Singh. Over the course of her two-year tenure, Eddice further honed her clinical skills, focusing on the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions. Her dedication to her patients and commitment to excellence were evident in her daily interactions and the quality of care she provided.

Currently, Eddice serves as a Physician Assistant at the Cardiovascular Institute of Central FL, LLC in Ocala, FL, a position she has held since April 2015. In this role, she continues to deliver compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular diseases. Eddice’s extensive experience, coupled with her strong work ethic and dedication to ongoing learning, make her a valued member of the healthcare team.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Eddice enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in outdoor activities. She remains deeply committed to serving her community and making a positive impact on the lives of others through her work in healthcare.
