Jennifer Lee Retikis, MSN, APRN FNP-BC AACC, a dedicated and highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a wealth of experience in cardiology, critical care and post anesthesia care. A retired military spouse whose husband has over 23 years in the United States Air Force. Currently serving patients at the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida in Ocala, Florida. As she has just moved to the area from Virginia. She brings over a decade of nursing expertise to her practice.

Jennifer’s journey in healthcare began with a strong academic foundation. She started out as a licensed practical nurse. Graduating in the top 5 of her class earning the Brown Scholarship. She then received her associates of nursing from medical careers institute. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlian College of Nursing. She graduated with Presidential Honors and was inducted into the Sigma tau nursing honor society. She then went on to receive her master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has held various nursing roles, demonstrating versatility and proficiency in diverse clinical settings. She has served as a Registered Nurse (RN) in prestigious institutions such as the United States Air Force Hospital Langley, John’s Hopkins University Hospital and Riverside Regional Medical Center, gaining extensive experience in critical care, surgery, pediatrics, and perioperative nursing. Her tenure as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in cardiology further enriched her expertise in managing complex cardiovascular conditions.

Jennifer’s commitment to excellence is reflected in her continuous pursuit of education and professional development. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, equipping herself with advanced skills to deliver comprehensive primary care services to individuals and families across the lifespan.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Jennifer is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care to her patients. She possesses a deep understanding of cardiovascular health and utilizes her expertise to diagnose and manage cardiovascular ailments effectively. Her approach to patient care is holistic, ensuring patients receive comprehensive treatment while considering their emotional, cultural, and physical needs.

She is a member of esteemed associations such as the American Medical Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the Florida Chapter of the American College of Cariology, and Sigma Tau nursing sorority.
