Kimberly Collins is a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with a wealth of experience spanning over 13 years in healthcare. With over a year specializing in electrophysiology and over 12 years in various nursing roles, Kimberly brings a unique blend of expertise to her practice. Her commitment to service excellence, effective communication, and team building has been instrumental in her success.

Currently, Kimberly serves as a valued member of the team at CVI (Cardiovascular Institute) where she provides empathetic care to patients, builds positive long-term relationships, and offers resources related to EP (Electrophysiology) services. Her responsibilities include prescribing and monitoring medications, performing postoperative follow-ups, and assisting in a variety of cardiac procedures, including pacemaker implants and ablations.

Prior to her current role, Kimberly held positions at Ocala Heart and Lung and Ocala Regional Medical Center, where she honed her skills in cardiovascular care and surgical management. As an Operating Room Nurse Manager, she played a pivotal role in overseeing surgical operations, managing personnel, and ensuring efficient departmental operations. Her leadership and strategic planning skills were instrumental in improving surgical turnaround times and optimizing departmental resources.

Kimberly’s extensive background also includes roles in critical care settings, such as the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Shands Healthcare and Ocala Regional Medical Center, where she provided high-quality care to critically ill patients. Her dedication to excellence led her to develop orientation manuals and revise departmental policies and procedures, contributing to the overall improvement of patient care delivery.

In addition to her clinical experience, Kimberly holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Central Florida. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and holds active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
