Lisa Stasio is an accomplished Acute Care Adult & Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with a strong dedication to patient care and over five years of clinical experience, specializing in cardiovascular health.

Currently serving as an APRN at the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida since May 2020, Lisa’s role involves providing comprehensive care to cardiovascular patients while achieving notable outcomes. Her responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and educating patients and their families on medical conditions and preventative care strategies.

Prior to her current position, Lisa gained valuable experience as a Registered Nurse at Ocala Regional Medical Center from 2014 to 2020, where she worked in the Progressive Care & Cardiovascular Unit. During her tenure, Lisa provided compassionate and safe patient care, demonstrated proficiency in managing cardiac medication drips and chest tubes, and played a pivotal role in coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.

Before transitioning into advanced practice nursing, Lisa began her healthcare journey as a Patient Care & Telemetry Technician at Ocala Regional Medical Center from 2012 to 2014. In this role, she monitored patient vital signs, delivered excellent patient care, and demonstrated expertise in identifying and responding to cardiac rhythm changes.

Lisa’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Acute Adult & Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from Walden University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Associate of Science in Nursing. She completed clinical rotations at esteemed institutions such as Ocala Regional Medical Center, AdventHealth Ocala, and Hospice of Marion County, gaining valuable hands-on experience in various healthcare settings.

With her technical expertise in cardiothoracic surgery step down and cardiovascular nursing care, combined with her commitment to excellence and patient-centered approach, Lisa Stasio continues to make significant contributions to the field of cardiovascular medicine.
