Matthew C. Morgan, APRN, is a seasoned healthcare provider with a wealth of experience in cardiovascular care and adult health. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for patient-centered care, he has made significant contributions to the field of nursing over the course of his career.

Currently, Matthew serves as a valued member of the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida, where he has been providing expert care since April 2015. His dedication to his patients and his comprehensive approach to healthcare have earned him the respect of both his colleagues and his patients.

Prior to his current position, Matthew held several notable roles in various healthcare settings, including Urban Cardiology, Marion Heart Associates, Citrus Gastroenterology, and Stephens Family Practice/Baptist Primary Care. These experiences have equipped him with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of the complexities of healthcare delivery.

In addition to his clinical work, Matthew has been actively involved in education, serving as a clinical preceptor for Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) students from the University of Florida and the University of North Florida. He is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals and passing on his knowledge and expertise to future practitioners.

Matthew’s areas of specialization include cardiology, adult health, outpatient care, inpatient care, long-term care, venous procedures and Botox cosmetic injections. His commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in healthcare ensures that his patients receive the highest standard of care.

Matthew earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Adult Nurse Practitioner from the University of Florida. He is an active member of the Florida Nurse’s Association and the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, demonstrating his dedication to professional growth and development.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Matthew is deeply committed to serving his community. He has volunteered with organizations such as the American Red Cross, coordinated community blood drives, and provided assistance during natural disasters. He helped search and rescue efforts during hurricane Andrew in 1992, battled Florida’s Firestorm in 1998. He led volunteer medical relief efforts in Aransas Pass, Texas after hurricane Harvey, and volunteers as a disaster relief worker with Team Rubicon. His altruistic spirit and dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of others reflect his values as a healthcare professional and a community leader.
